Glendowie Bowling Club is a friendly club and welcomes all people who wish to play bowls at any level.
Members include competitive Auckland bowlers as well as those who prefer to play in an informal, social setting.
Glendowie Bowls has three excellent bowling greens and a comfortable clubhouse with wonderful facilities.
The club's location is exceptional with extensive views over the Tamaki River estuary and adjacent to a peaceful, rural Churchill Park.

I have personally participated in over 20 sports in my life and without a doubt, bowls is the finest.
From singles through to pairs, triples and fours, from social bowls to championship bowls, this sport can cater for all.
Agile and brilliant young players are able to compete with experienced and knowledgeable mature bowlers.
The game is technically and mentally challenging but is also able to meet the needs of the social bowler.'
